Staff Qualifications

All staff are required to fulfill State requirements for their individual positions.  Many of our staff have degrees in early childhood education, education, or related fields.  We encourage all staff to continue their education and help them to do so with grant monies when made available.

Student/Teacher Ratio

Adult/child ratios are as follows:

Toddler Center 1:5 – when 5 children are in attendance, a second adult is available to assist but may not be continuously present in the classroom.  With the 6th child, a second adult will be present.

Preschool 1:10 – due to the physical layout of the Preschool, 2 adults are usually present at all times.  If numbers are sufficiently low only one adult may be assigned while another (usually the Director) will be available to assist as necessary.
